Product introduction
PulseAid, a portable CPR device, offers users real-time guidance and feedback during CPR procedures. PulseAid enhances the accessibility of CPR with its portability and user-friendly instructions, reducing the technical barriers to practice. This makes CPR rescue more widespread and timely. We anticipate the device's versatility in both training and emergencies, minimizing the learning-to-implementing transition challenges.
Value proposition
Save lives in the palm of your hands - anytime, anywhere
We identified a significant disparity between completing CPR training and applying it in real-life situations. While many individuals undergo CPR training, only a small fraction feel confident enough to utilize their skills. Specifically, the challenges of stressful situations often impede people from translating their acquired knowledge into practical action.
Diary Study
Goal
Find patterns with issues commonly encountered by first-time learners by getting insights from both professionals and beginners.
Why diary studies?
The diary study provides rich longitudinal qualitative data with real-world context, enabling participants to document their experiences with CPR training and emergencies in their natural environment. It also reduces recall bias by providing flexibility for the trainers to fill in their observations after every session or at the end of the day and thus can help us identify more nuanced difficulties that users meet.
